* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Alamance County in central North Carolina... Northeastern Guilford County in central North Carolina...

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 122 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bethany, or near Wentworth, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Burlington, Graham, McLeansville, Elon, Summerfield, Gibsonville, Stokesdale, Swepsonville, and Alamance. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 128 and 131. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 147, and between Mile Markers 220 and 226.
