1. Pursuit Arrest (2159) Thornton Road and Davis Road, Bear Creek District
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the listed area. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a brief pursuit. The pursuit concluded when the vehicle became disabled, and officers arrested the driver. ARRESTED: Joshua Juarez, 26, for pursuit charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0020) Thornton Road and Waudman Avenue, Bear Creek District
The male victims, 32 and 61, were driving in the listed area when an unknown suspect fired gunshots at their vehicles. Both vehicles were struck, but neither victim was injured. There is no suspect information.
3. Battery on an Officer (0048) Sonora Street and Union Street, Park District
Officers were driving in the listed area when the suspect ran a stop sign, nearly striking the officers, and then colliding with a parked car. The officers detained the suspect and found him in possession of narcotics. When the officers attempted to handcuff the suspect, he resisted, struck an officer in the face, and fled on foot. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. The officer was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: Kiburi Dynes, 46, for battery on an officer causing injury, resisting arrest by means of violence, reckless driving, and narcotic charges.
4. Robbery (0200) 1600 Block of Turnpike Road, Seaport District
The male victim, 18, was in the listed area when the suspect approached him and asked for help with something in her hotel room. Once inside the room, a second suspect brandished a firearm at the victim and demanded his property. The victim complied, then fled on foot. SUSPECTS: White or Hispanic female adult and a Hispanic male adult.
