UPDATE – Power Outage

The front lobby of the Arcadia Police Department is now closed due to the ongoing power outage.

911 remains operational. Emergency calls are currently being answered by the Monrovia Police Department and dispatched accordingly to Arcadia Police Officers.

A temporary non-emergency phone line has been established for the Arcadia Police Department at (626) 743-2731.

The Arcadia Police Department is aware of a power outage affecting portions of the City. Multiple traffic signals are currently out, and the Police Department is also without power.

The Police Department’s non-emergency/business phone lines are currently not working. However, 911 remains operational and emergency calls are still being answered. If you have an emergency, call 911. The Police Department front lobby remains open at this time.

Please use caution when approaching intersections with traffic signals that are out. A completely dark traffic signal should be treated as a stop sign. Come to a complete stop, yield to other vehicles and pedestrians, and proceed only when it is safe to do so.

Please allow extra time for travel and use alternate routes when possible.

Instructions:

* Do not call 911 to report the power outage or a traffic signal that is out. Please keep 911 available for emergencies.
* Treat any intersection with a completely dark traffic signal as a four-way stop. Come to a complete stop, yield to other vehicles and pedestrians, and proceed when safe.
* Use extra caution while driving and allow additional time for travel.
* If you need non-emergency police assistance while the business lines are unavailable, the Police Department front lobby remains open.
