* At 215 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Morganton to 4 miles south of Marion to 19 miles south of Spruce Pine, moving south at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
