NYSEG Work – Church Street at Chestnut Street - 9/8/26 
Today, Tuesday, September 8th , beginning at approximately 9:00 am, Church Street will be closed from the intersection of Church and Chestnut Street to the entrance for the shopping plaza on Church Street to allow NYSEG work crews to replace the power transformer in that area of Church Street at the end by Chestnut Street. Work should be completed by 1:00 pm.
Please avoid this area and use alternate routes. Flaggers will be in place to keep traffic safely away from the work zone. Please exercise extreme caution and obey signs and flaggers.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
