9/11 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony
On September 11, 2026, the Simi Valley Police Department will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and honor the lives forever changed by that tragic day.
At 8:00 a.m., the Simi Valley Police Department will host a remembrance ceremony in front of the Police Department. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for our community to come together to remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, honor the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and recognize the courage and resilience demonstrated in the days and years that followed.
Members of the public are warmly invited to join Simi Valley Police Department personnel, City staff, elected officials, retirees, and members of the Ventura County Fire Department as we pause together to remember September 11 and those whose lives were profoundly impacted by the events of that day.
