1. Vehicle Pursuit (1550) Airport Way and Hazelton Avenue, Park District
Officers attempted a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle collided. The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. There were no injuries reported. ARRESTED: Javier Parra, 21, for evading.
2. Robbery (1600) 6700 Block of Plymouth Road, Lakeview District
The female victim, 24, was working at a business in the listed area when two suspects entered. One suspect chased the victim, took her property, and fled in a vehicle. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical attention. SUSPECTS: A Black male adult and a Hispanic male adult.
3. Persons Shot (2057) 1200 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
Two male victims, 24 and 23, were in the listed area when an unknown suspect shot them. Both victims were struck and were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. SUSPECT: An adult male.
4. Carjacking (2130) Bedlow Drive and Astor Drive, Valley Oak District
Related to entry #3. A 16-year-old male juvenile picked up two acquaintances in the listed area. As the suspects entered his vehicle, they pointed firearms at the victim and told him to drive to East Hammer Lane. As they arrived, they began shooting at someone. The suspects then told the victim to drive to a location and told him to get out. The suspects fled with the victim’s vehicle. SUSPECTS: A Hispanic male juvenile and a
Black male juvenile.
