The Waretown First Aid Squad will be hosting the First Responder Unity 5K on Sunday, September 13. The race will bring runners into the area of the Corliss Park Lake and Recreation Area.
Out of an abundance of caution, the rear portion of the lake will be closed to vehicle traffic from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM to help ensure the safety of participants and visitors.
If you plan to use the pickleball courts, dog park, or simply enjoy a walk around the lake, please park near the Little Red Schoolhouse and access the recreation area on foot.
Members of the Ocean Township Police Department will be on site to assist with parking, traffic, and any questions you may have.
