Today, September 9th, beginning at approximately 11:00 am, a contractor working for the City will be installing a new street light at the entrance to #27 Market Street Parking Lot. There will be one lane traffic on Market Street between the parking lot entrance at 27 Market Street and Chestnut Street Extension. Work will continue until completed which is estimated to be at approximately 2:00 pm. Sidewalks will also be closed in the immediate work area.
Please avoid this area if at all possible. Flaggers will direct traffic and temporary traffic control devices will be placed around the work areas. Please exercise extreme caution and obey all traffic control devices and flaggers.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
