Please be advised that the Andover Township Police Department reports the following:
Forest Lakes Drive will be completely closed from Route 206 to the three-way intersection (the triangle) to through traffic beginning this Friday September 11, 2026 from 7AM until about 5PM to accommodate the upcoming paving project.
Buses and emergency vehicles will still be able to get through the work zone.
Due to the narrow roadway conditions in certain areas, as well as the numerous curves and turns along the roadway, it has been determined that a full road closure is necessary and in the best interest of public safety during paving operations.
The complete closure will allow paving crews and equipment to safely perform the work while reducing the risk to motorists, pedestrians and workers in the construction area. We understand this closure may cause temporary inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work to improve the roadway.
Please plan an alternate route and do not attempt to enter the closed portion of the roadway. Follow all posted detours and closure signage.
