| The Camarillo Police Department is proud to announce the next Coffee with a Cop event. Coffee with a Cop brings deputies and community members together, over coffee, to discuss issues and learn more about resources, services, and needs of the community. This event will be held on 09/23/2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Starbucks, located at 5011 Verdugo Way in Camarillo. September is National Disaster Preparedness Month. This month’s Coffee with a Cop will feature members of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services and the Camarillo Police Department Community Resources Unit. Emergency managers will be on site to provide information and resources on disaster preparedness, including how residents can prepare for potential impacts associated with El Niño and other weather-related emergencies as well as assist with VC Alert registration and questions. The Camarillo Police Department and Ventura County Sheriff’s Office have benefited from strong partnerships within the communities we serve, and our goal is to provide the community with useful information if disaster were to strike our communities. By sitting down and having a simple conversation over coffee, our staff and community members can continue growing together. We look forward to answering your questions and working together.
