The community is invited to join Middletown Township in commemorating the 25ᵗʰ anniversary of 9/11 on Friday, September 11ᵗʰ at 7:00 PM at the Middletown World Trade Center Memorial Gardens, located next to the Middletown Arts Center (36 Church Street).
The service will bring together 9/11 families, community members, first responders, veterans, and local officials to honor the 37 Middletown residents who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as those whose lives were later claimed by 9/11-related illnesses.
The program will include remarks and ceremonial tributes reaffirming Middletown’s promise to never forget.
General parking will be available in the main lot at the Middletown Train Station. Police officers will be on hand to direct traffic and assist pedestrians crossing Church Street.
The service will be held rain or shine.
