The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that the playground at the Chevy Chase Community Center (5601 Connecticut Avenue, NW) will close to the public starting Friday, September 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., with repairs estimated to be completed by Monday, September 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
The playground surface is undergoing necessary repairs. During this time, the playground will be offline to ensure safety while work is underway.
