Attend the annual September 11th Memorial Service tomorrow
The public is invited to attend the City of Hoboken’s annual September 11th Memorial Service on
Friday, Sept. 11, at 5 p.m. This year the City will be partnering with the Hoboken Italian Festival, as well as the Hoboken Clergy Coalition to honor the 56 Hoboken residents who were lost on Sept.11, 2001, 25 years ago.
The ceremony will also highlight the work of, and feature speakers from, the
Tunnel to Towers Foundation. It will take place on Friday, Sep.,11, at 5 p.m. at the eastern end of Pier A Park, overlooking the Manhattan skyline and the World Trade Center site, which is a different location than recent years.
Donate blood at Hoboken Police Headquarters tomorrow
The Hoboken Police Department is hosting a blood drive in recognition of 9/11, tomorrow,
Sept. 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Hoboken Police Headquarters, 106 Hudson St.
Community members who would like to donate should be between 17 and 75 years old, bring a photo ID, hydrate and eat well, and be free of any symptoms.
