SMPD arrests robbery suspects 
On September 10, 2026, at approximately 6:20 PM, Santa Maria Police officers responded to a report of a robbery outside the Town Center Mall. A victim was approached by two suspects, one of whom threatened him with a knife. That suspect took the victim's property and then both suspects fled on foot.
Both suspects were located by officers several blocks away and ultimately arrested for PC 211 (Robbery). Both suspects were juveniles and their names will not be released.
The suspects had several other items of property that are believed to belong to additional victim(s). If you have any further information that could lead to the identity of those victim(s) please call Santa Maria Police Dispatch at (805) 928-3781 ext. 2277.
