* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Central Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Northwestern Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Lewis County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 430 AM EDT.

* At 1232 AM EDT, doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Buckhannon, Weston, Stonewall Jackson, Cedar Creek State Park, Burnsville, Sand Fork, Sand Run, Camden, Walkersville, Alum Bridge, Horner, Linn, Stouts Mills, Lorentz, French Creek, Cedarville and Normantown. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 77 and 104. Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 7.
