The Township of Monroe invites members of the community to join us this morning for the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Event, as we come together to remember and honor those who lost their lives and all those who were forever changed by the tragic events of September 11th, 2001.

Location: Memorial Tree Park, Prospect Plains Road, Monroe Township
Parking & Transportation:
Parking for today's event will be available along the shoulder of Prospect Plains Road, as directed by police personnel. Additional parking will be available at the Monroe Township Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Plaza, Monroe Township, NJ. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the Municipal Building and Memorial Tree Park for those who choose to park at the Municipal Building. The bus will depart from the Municipal Building at 8:15 A.M.
Traffic Advisory:
Motorists should anticipate increased traffic and possible congestion along Prospect Plains Road in the area of Memorial Tree Park before, during, and immediately following this morning's event. Monroe Township Police Officers will be in the area assisting with parking, traffic control, and pedestrians crossing Prospect Plains Road.
Motorists traveling through the area are asked to reduce their speed, use caution, remain alert for pedestrians, and follow the directions of police officers.
