...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 11 PM PDT SATURDAY FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 424, 425, 426, 427, 437, 438, 469, AND 470... The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 11 PM PDT Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* WIND...Sustained southwest winds 20 to 25 mph, with gusts near 45 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity values as low as 9 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT COUNTY AND NORTHERN LANDER COUNTY ... WHITE PINE AND NORTHEAST NYE COUNTIES ... NORTHERN NYE COUNTY - MOJAVE ... CENTRAL NEVADA - TOIYABE ...
