Rainbow Bridge will close to traffic from 8 a.m. to midnight on Sunday, September 13 to accommodate a special event organized by Choose Folsom.

Dinner on the Bridge will celebrate the 80th anniversaries of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce and City of Folsom.

The Historic District will remain open and accessible throughout the closure. Motorists crossing the American River are encouraged to use Folsom Boulevard as an alternate route. Detours will be clearly marked, and electronic message signs will notify motorists in advance. The Historic Truss Bridge will remain open to pedestrians and bicyclists at all times.

The event will conclude with a 10-minute, 250-drone aerial show at approximately 8:30 p.m. The show will be visible from portions of the Historic District, including the Historic Truss Bridge and the Lake Natoma Crossing bridge walking path.
