SUMMARY: On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 3:20 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the area of Seventh Avenue and Nisqualli Road for a report of a traffic collision.
The preliminary investigation determined a blue 1971 Chevrolet traveled north on Seventh Avenue at an unsafe speed when it crossed the center median into southbound traffic and collided with a trailer being pulled by a 2015 Kenworth tractor truck.
The driver and passenger of the Chevrolet were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver sustained major injuries and was subsequently transported to a trauma center for further treatment.
The investigation is ongoing and it is currently unknown if alcohol was a factor in this collision.
