1. Weapons Arrest (1438) Sonora Street and Wilson Way, Park District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a suspect armed with a firearm. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, conducted a subsequent search, and located a loaded firearm. Arrested: Victor Hernandez, 41, for weapons-related charges.
2. Pursuit Arrest (2101) Aurora Street and Hazelton Avenue, Seaport District
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a slowspeed pursuit. The driver eventually stopped his vehicle and got out. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Juan Carlos, 24, for evading and DUI.
3. Person Shot (2208) 800 Block of Astor Drive, Valley Oak District
Two male victims, 24 and 31, were driving in the area to confront the suspects about a dispute when the suspect(s) shot at their vehicle, striking one of the victims. The victim was transported to an area hospital to treat his gunshot wound. There is no suspect information.
