1. Weapons Arrest (0948) 100 Block of Ryde Avenue, Civic District
Officers responded to the area on a report of an occupant in a silver Honda Accord, possibly armed with a firearm. Officers checked the area, located the vehicle, and detained the suspect. Officers searched and found the firearm in the car. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Julius Navarro, 21, for weapon violations.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1342) Bianchi Road and West Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers attempted to stop an occupied stolen vehicle at the location, but the suspect refused to stop, leading officers on a short pursuit. The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle crashed into a fence, and three suspects fled on foot. Officers took two suspects into custody, and one suspect remains outstanding. ARRESTED: a 13-year-old male and a 16-year-old male.
