NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are assisting El Monte Police Department investigate the circumstances surrounding an officer-involved shooting. The incident occurred on the 5100 block of Elrovia Avenue, in the city of El Monte, Sunday, September 13, 2026 at approximately 6:52 P.M.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No officers were injured during the incident.
