AVOID THE AREA: Starting at 6pm tonight, Monday 9/14, crews will be repairing a water service line on Raritan Avenue between 4th and 5th Avenues. Southbound Route 27/Raritan Avenue will be closed during this time, and motorists should avoid the area.
DETOUR: Southbound traffic will turn right onto North 5th Avenue, left onto Denison Street, left onto North 4th Avenue, then right back onto Route 27. Allow extra travel time or plan an alternate route.
Residents and businesses in the area may experience low or no water pressure during the course of the repair. Middlesex Water Company will issue a boil water advisory to affected properties, if needed.
