Sheriff Clint Roach, reports that on September 13, 2026, at approximately 2031 hours his Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury crash near the intersection of M-60 and Patterson Hill Rd., in Newberg Township, Cass County, Michigan.
Investigation shows that Selena Thornberg (19yrs old of Coolidge, Arizona) was travelling West bound on M-60 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it the veer off the road. Selena's vehicle then struck a guard rail causing it to flip over. Due to injuries sustained in the crash Selena was transported by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital. This crash is still under investigation.
