WARRANT EXECUTION LEADS TO ADDITIONAL DRUG ARREST FOR MAN IN WOODS
Deputy Caleb Baliles with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 33-year-old Colby James Kelly of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. He received a secured bond of $2,000.
While attempting to serve warrants at a Marion residence on Sunday, August 30, Deputy Baliles received a call from communications that a neighbor reported a suspicious male hiding in the woods near the home.
Deputies Baliles apprehended Kelly a short time later who was subsequently searched and found with a suspected amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
