INCIDENT: Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of Drugs and Evidence of Narcotics Sales.
LOCATION: First Avenue and Sequoia Street, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Eric Claudio, 30-year-old, Resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Friday, September 11, 2026, while conducting proactive enforcement in the City of Hesperia, the Hesperia Gang Investigations Team conducted a traffic stop on First Avenue and Sequoia Street. Deputies contacted Eric Claudio, a known gang member.
During a search of Claudio’s vehicle, Deputies recovered approximately one pound of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, black tar heroin, and a large amount of U.S currency. Claudio was arrested for HS11351 - possession for sales, HS 11352(A) -transportation of narcotics, HS 11378 - possession of a controlled substance for sale, and HS 11379(A) - transportation of a controlled substance.
