Activity for September 14, 2026:

  • Officer Vernier investigated a domestic dispute that occurred in the 700 block of Leroy Street. A 42-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
  • Officer Bean was dispatched to 1 Energy Plaza for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was located unoccupied on Chittock Avenue. A suspect has been identified; charges will be sought on a 14-year-old male for unlawfully driving away an automobile (stolen vehicle).
  • Officer Goings responded to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 30-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
  • Officer Goings was dispatched to a traffic crash at Cooper Street and Franklin Street. A 76-year-old male was transported to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries. A 55-year-old male received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
  • Officer Farnsworth responded to Burr Street and Edgewood Street for a personal welfare check. A 21-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
  • Officer Frazier located a wanted subject near South Blackstone Street and West Wesley Street. A 39-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
  • Officer Frazier made contact with a subject violating a City ordinance in the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue. A 34-year-old male was arrested for a conditional bond violation.
  • Officer Fitzpatrick made contact with a subject in the 1700 block of East Michigan Avenue. A 38-year-old male was arrested for a conditional bond violation.
  • Officer Castro was dispatched to the 400 block of North East Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 34-year-old male was arrested for assaulting a police officer; resisting and obstructing; and conditional bond violation.
  • Officer Frazier and Officer Schram responded to a hit and run traffic crash near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Mitchell Street. The suspect vehicle had been stolen from the 300 block of Bates Street before the crash occurred. The investigation is ongoing.
