Structure Fire – Shakes Avenue Closed 
Wrangell Volunteer Fire Department is currently responding to a structure fire at the Marine Bar.
Shakes Avenue is closed in the area. Residents and motorists are asked to avoid the area and allow emergency responders room to work.
The Nolan Center is open for residents who are being affected by smoke and need a temporary place to go.
Please continue to avoid the area until further notice. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.
