INCIDENT: Major Injury Traffic Collision

DRIVER #1: 22-year-old male, Resident of Adelanto
VEHICLE #1: 2006 Ford F-150 with Carson Trailer attached
DRIVER #2: 69-year-old male, Resident of Apple Valley
VEHICLE #2: 2019 Harley Davidson Motorcycle
SUMMARY: On September 14, 2026, at about 4:56 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station and personnel from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the intersection of Marigold Street and Apple Valley Road regarding a traffic collision.
Preliminary investigation determined a Ford pickup truck was traveling southbound on Apple Valley Road, approaching Marigold Street. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on Apple Valley Road, approaching the same intersection. The Ford pickup made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
