On Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team assisted the Cass County Sheriff’s Office in responding to a breaking and entering complaint. The victims provided a description of the suspect’s vehicle, which was quickly located by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and K9 Loki in the Township of Marcellus, Cass County, MI.
During the traffic stop, K9 Loki alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a baggie containing methamphetamine along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Detectives arrested a 31‑year‑old male for possession of methamphetamine. A 46‑year‑old female was also taken into custody on felony charges related to possession of stolen property connected to the breaking and entering. Names of the involved individuals are being withheld pending arraignment in the 4th District Court. This investigation remains ongoing.
