The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has issued a scam alert due to an uptick in activity. Scammers are sending official looking fraudulent documents using the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office name and graphics directing victims to make payments through a kiosk or other payment method. These notices are NOT from the Sheriff’s Office. Do not scan QR codes, send money or provide banking, identification, or other personal information without verifying the document.
