Update – Fatal Shooting

On September 15, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers from the Norton Shores Police Department responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 3200 block of Ingersol Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim inside the residence suffering from a gunshot injury. Despite life-saving efforts by the Norton Shores Police Department, Norton Shores Fire Department, and Life EMS, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Antonio Ken-Tarrius Hall, 27, of Texas.

As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old male from Muskegon was arrested on the night of the shooting. The suspect's name will not be released until he has been arraigned. The Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office will review the investigation and determine what charges, if any, will be authorized.

The investigation remains ongoing. There is no threat to the community related to this incident.
