Saddle River Police advises through traffic to AVOID West Saddle River Road between East Allendale Road and Lower Cross Road. A traffic crash, involving a utility pole, has the roadway closed in the area. Local traffic should proceed with caution due to the issue. The vehicle crash occurred in the area of 54 West Saddle River Road and any local vehicle traffic that needs to access the area should use that as a point of reference to determine which side of the road closure they should access their destination from. It is still unknown how long the closure will remain in effect. Through traffic should use East Saddle River Road or Route 17 to travel through the area.
