INCIDENT: PC 417.4 - Brandishing a Replica Firearm
LOCATION: 32900 Block of Yucaipa Boulevard, Yucaipa

SUSPECT: Juvenile, 15-year-old, Resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 5:04 p.m., Yucaipa deputies responded to the 32900 block of Yucaipa Boulevard regarding a report of a juvenile displaying a firearm in his waistband.
Deputies responded and learned the juvenile suspect left the area on a city bus moments before their arrival. Deputies drove to the Yucaipa Transit Center and detained the juvenile suspect as he exited the bus without incident. An unloaded Glock, 19-style replica BB Gun was found concealed inside the suspect’s waistband.
Investigators conducted a thorough investigation, and officials from the Yucaipa Calimesa Joint Unified School District were notified and collaborated in the investigation.
After the investigation, the juvenile suspect was arrested for PC 417.4, brandishing a replica firearm in public, and both he and his legal guardian were issued citations for Juvenile Court in San Bernardino.
