| Narrative: |
During the month of September 2026, Patrol Deputies responded to a possible embezzlement call, which revealed that the former president of the Camarillo Girls Softball Association (CGSA) had used association funds for personal purchases, resulting in losses of several thousand dollars.
Detectives from the Camarillo Investigation Bureau assumed the investigation and conducted additional follow-up. On 09/15/26, Detectives contacted the former CGSA president, (S) Paul Gallo, and arrested him.
Gallo was booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility on charges of 487 PC – Grand Theft, and was later released on $10,000 bail.
