New Jersey Avenue will close at approximately 2:00 PM today for the New Jersey State Firemen’s Convention Parade.
The closure will extend along New Jersey Avenue from Crocus Avenue in Wildwood Crest, through the City of Wildwood, to 21st Street in North Wildwood. The roadway will remain closed until the conclusion of the parade.
Motorists traveling east or west across New Jersey Avenue will be permitted to cross during breaks in the parade; however, motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route whenever possible.
Please expect delays and increased pedestrian traffic throughout the area during the parade. Motorists are urged to use caution and allow additional travel time.
