Public Invited to Meridian Public Safety Day 2026
MERIDIAN, Idaho — The Meridian Police Department and Meridian Fire Department are inviting the community to join them for Public Safety Day 2026, a free, family-friendly event designed to bring residents together with the public safety professionals who serve them.
Public Safety Day will take place Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1223 E. Watertower St. in Meridian. The event is open to all ages and will provide community members with an opportunity to meet police officers, firefighters and other public safety partners while learning more about the services they provide. Enjoy safety and prevention resources from community partners such as the Meridian Anti-drug Coalition, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC), St. Lukes, Red Cross and more!

Public Safety Day is a great opportunity for our officers and firefighters to connect with the community outside of an emergency. We want families to come out, meet the people behind the badges and uniforms, and learn more about how we work together to keep Meridian safe.
