Traffic Advisory: Danville Concours d’Elegance Car Show Street Closures
On Sunday, September 20, several streets in Downtown Danville will be closed for the Danville Concours d’Elegance Car Show. Street closures will be in place starting at 6 a.m., and the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All drivers should exercise caution in the Downtown Danville area, as there will be heavier than usual pedestrian traffic.
The following closures will occur September 20 between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- Hartz Avenue between Linda Mesa Avenue and School Street;
- Diablo Road between Hartz Avenue and Rose Street;
- Prospect Avenue between the Clock Tower Municipal Parking Lot entrance and Front Street;
- Short Street to through traffic;
- Church Street west and east between Hartz Avenue and the Village Theatre Municipal Parking Lot.
Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays during the closure timeframe. Parking is available on surrounding public streets and in all downtown Municipal Parking lots.
