Charges Filed in August Armed Robbery at Cloquet Convenience Store; Adult Certification Sought
CLOQUET, Minn. – The Carlton County Attorney’s Office has filed charges stemming from the August 29, 2026, armed robbery at the Cloquet Korner Store.
A 17-year-old male has been charged in juvenile court with one count of Aggravated Robbery and one count of Threats of Violence. A motion to certify to adult court has been filed.
The Cloquet Police Department thanks the Carlton County Attorney’s Office for its work on this case, as well as the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, the Fond du Lac Police Department, the Minnesota State Patrol, and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance during the initial investigation.
Because this matter involves a juvenile and remains an active legal proceeding, the Cloquet Police Department is not releasing additional identifying information at this time. Additional information may become available as the case proceeds through the court system.
