Case # SMPD26-0012858
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 8:02 PM, Santa Maria Police Department (SMPD) officers responded to the 700 block of S. Western regarding the report of gunshots heard. Responding Officers subsequently located a 40 year-old male victim, who sustained a gunshot wound which appeared to be non-life-threatening. Santa Maria Fire Department and AMR Personnel responded to the scene to render medical aid. The victim was later transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
