North Central Mason County in western West Virginia...

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms earlier this morning. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall is expected tonight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Point Pleasant, Gallipolis, Rio Grande, Racine, Ravenswood, New Haven, Gallia, Middleport, Hartford City, Henderson, Vinton, Leon, Wilkesville, Cheshire, Adamsville, Gallopolis Ferry, Lakin, Kyger, Letart, and Southside. - This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia near mile marker 151...and between mile markers 164 and 171. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
