LUCAS FIRE UPDATE | SEPTEMBER 20, 2026
The Lucas Fire is now 100% contained. All remaining Evacuation Orders have been lifted, and all remaining Traffic Control Points have been removed.
Residents returning to the area are asked to use caution and remain aware of their surroundings. Fire personnel and equipment may continue to be present in the area, and hazards may remain even though containment has reached 100%.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the firefighters and crews who continued working throughout the incident to reach full containment, as well as all of the agencies and personnel who supported the Lucas Fire response.
