At 209 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Stonewall Jackson to 8 miles west of Birch River. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Buckhannon, Sutton, Clay, Gassaway, Birch River, Rock Cave, Harrison, Burnsville, Flatwoods, Cleveland, Boggs, Little Birch, Kanawha Head, Ireland, Ivydale, Overhill, Erbacon, French Creek, Widen, and Frametown. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 46 and 89. Route 19 between mile markers 52 and 68. Route 33 between mile markers 15 and 17.
