September 18, 2026:
- Officer Kruso responded to the 100 block of Rockwell Street for an assault report.
- Officer Panther and Officer Tripp located a wanted subject near Sixth Street and West Franklin Street. A 52-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing; possession of narcotics; and an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Soloman located a wanted subject in the 600 block of Chester Street. A 35-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of West Morrell Street. A 28-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Sergeant Thoresen made contact with a subject near Park Road and Fourth Street. A 30-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and multiple conditional bond violations.
- Officers responded to the 1500 block of Lewis Street for a stabbing. A 60-year-old male received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. The 54-year-old male who stabbed the other subject was acting in self-defense, and it is unlikely charges will be issued.
September 19, 2026:
- Officer Vernier was dispatched to the 200 block of West North Street for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
- JPD members attended the Alzheimer’s Walk downtown.
- Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop at North Mechanic Street and West Pearl Street. The 42-year-old male driver received a citation for driving with a suspended license, and was arrested for possession of narcotics.
- Officer Beekel responded to a car versus pedestrian accident near North Cooper Street and West North Street. A 52-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop at Woodbridge Street and Rockwell Street. The 36-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
September 20, 2026:
- Officer Kruso was dispatched to North West Avenue and St. Clair Avenue for a single vehicle traffic crash. The 30-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
