INCIDENT: Man Arrested for Felony Child Abuse in Big Bear Lake
LOCATION: 500 block of Waynoka Lane, Big Bear Lake,
SUSPECT(S): Guillermo Rodriguez, 41-year-old, Resident of Big Bear Lake
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 6:35 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in Big Bear Lake following a report of an unknown problem. Upon arrival, deputies contacted an adult female, two children ages five and twelve, and an adult male, later identified as Guillermo Rodriguez.
While conducting the investigation, deputies observed significant bruising on both children. Deputies learned that Rodriguez caused multiple injuries to the the children.
Deputies arrested Guillermo Rodriguez for PC 273(d), felony child abuse, and booked him into custody at the Big Bear Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the San Bernardino County Superior Court on September 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
