INCIDENT: Fatal Crash
LOCATION: Nisqualli Road / Eleventh Avenue, Victorville
DECEDENT: 35-year-old Male, Pending Next of Kin Notification
SUMMARY: On Sunday, September 20, 2026, at approximately 6:32 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station, along with Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel, responded to the area of Nisqualli Road and Eleventh Avenue in Victorville for a two vehicle crash.
A blue four-door Honda Civic drove westbound on Nisqualli Road toward Eleventh Avenue. A dark blue four-door Chevrolet Traverse drove southbound on Eleventh Avenue at Nisqualli Road in the left turn lane, to travel eastbound on Nisqualli Road. The Traverse made an eastbound turn onto Nisqualli Road, and the Civic broadsided the Traverse.
The driver of the Civic sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver and all occupants of the Traverse were transported to Providence St. Mary’s Medical Center. All parties of the Traverse cooperated with the investigation.
Victorville's Major Accident Investigation Team arrived on scene and conducted the investigation.
Nisqualli Road between Balsam Road and Ninth Avenue, and Eleventh Avenue between Winona Street and Sitting Bull Street were closed for several hours.
