Harvey St. & Sternberg Rd. Intersection Reconstruction Update
Significant progress has been made over the past two weeks. New storm structures, storm sewer lines, curb and gutter, and a new curb ramp have been installed. Approximately 85% of the concrete pavement is complete, with the remaining work scheduled to be completed tomorrow.
Restoration work will begin this week, with preparation for the new HMA tie-ins. HMA placement is scheduled for Monday, 9/28.
Motorists are reminded to follow the designated detour and avoid using local business parking lots and access drives to bypass the work zone.
The project is nearing completion of Stage 1. Schedule updates are subject to weather and construction progress.
