INCIDENT: Residential Burglary
LOCATION: 15000 block of Pohez Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT: Andrew Jewett, 36-year-old male, Transient from Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Monday, September 21, 2026, at approximately 8:16 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station responded to the 15000 block of Pohez Road regarding a suspicious person.
The suspect, later identified as Andrew Jewett, entered the victim’s garage and attempted to steal a vehicle. Jewett fled the area after being confronted by the homeowner.
Jewett was located a short time later and arrested without incident. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for PC 459 – Residential Burglary and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
