The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) would like to inform the community that the Joy Evans Therapeutic Aquatic Center (3030 G Street, SE) will be closed to the public today from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The recreation center will remain open during this time, and the aquatic center will reopen at 4:30 p.m.
Additionally, all DPR grass fields are CLOSED today, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, due to rainfall and wet field conditions. Synthetic fields remain open.
